Simulator / Mechanical Horse Lessons 

The Cavalier Centre 

Bradley Farm, Farley, Much Wenlock,  TF13 6PE

40 min 1:1 sessions on a Racewood simulator.

  • Improve your balance, symmetry and posture (Biomechanics) in this hands on active lesson.

  • Develop skills to take back to your live ridden work

  • Feel confident to make changes without having to ‘worry’ about your horse, have fun in the warm, dry indoor workRoom

  • Safely experience the use of resistance bands and Franklin balls to help your position (if appropriate)

  • Sessions are supportive and progressive and tailored to the individual whether you’re looking to develop skills, fitness or stamina, just starting out or competing regularly.

  • These sessions will provide you with clear plan and solutions to implement.

 

Coaching provided by DerryVM, BHS APC, Accredited Rider Biomechanics Coach (RWYM), Franklin Ball Certified Coach.

COST:  Introductory price of £50 per person for a 1:1 40 min session. (Normally £55)

Do you want to bring your horse and have a ridden lesson following your simulator lesson to apply your new skills straight away ? .. there may be the opportunity to utilise the amazing indoor arena at the Caviler Centre following your simulator lesson - if this is of interest please get in touch with me directly to discuss costs and options.

 

Booking terms:
Full payment secures your lesson time and place. Cancellations, as Perry (the simulator) is hired, I am required to confirm and pay for the hire 9 days prior to the lesson. Therefore cancellations within this 9 day window are subject to the full lesson fee regardless of the reason for cancellation, unless a substitute rider is found. The simulator also has a weight limit of 15 stone (95kgs).

Session 1 - Novice Jump 

 

Improve yours and your horses confidence, in this prep to jump - novice jump clinic - starting as low as poles on the ground, focus on building success over fences using pole work exercises.  Working to meet all abilities, this clinic uses poles in a jump focus. Ideal for all abilities - novice riders and horses encouraged.

Session 2 - Pole Work

 

Working in partnership with you and your horse to improve confidence, balance and just have a great time, while improving and learning along the way. Ideal for all abilities novice riders and horses especially welcomed. COSTS: Costs vary based on numbers and location 

 

 

Session 3 - Flat Work/ Franklin Balls/ Biomechanics 

 

Working to develop balance harmony with you and your horse, focusing on your position and how your body influences the horse (Rider Biomechanics) and improving your horses way of going through the uses of effective and impactful exercises. This session has the option to work with Franklin Balls to further develop your skills and deeper feel for what’s going on. This is often regarded as a ‘dressage or flat lesson’  this session is a must for anyone who rides a horse, weather that be hacking, showing, dressage, pottering about the lanes, as it will be completely personalised to you;   COSTS Costs vary based on numbers and location
